Each session is delivered on a 1:1 basis (45 minutes each) and tailored to the individual child, with a focus on building confidence, clarity and independence in communication.
Developing awareness of how communication works, turn-taking, listening and responding.
Exploring body language, facial expression and eye contact to support understanding and interaction.
Building confidence in conversations, including initiating, maintaining and responding appropriately.
Strengthening attention, processing skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Supporting working memory and helping children retain and use information more effectively.
Developing the ability to interpret more abstract or figurative language and meaning.
Expanding word knowledge and improving the ability to use language accurately and confidently.
Supporting children in organising and expressing their ideas clearly, both verbally and in structured narratives.
