Why Speech and Drama Classes are so important for young people

Our Speech and Drama classes are incredibly valuable for young people in developing creativity, building confidence and essential life skills in a fun and creative way. Speech and Drama classes at Ellendel also support the emotional and developmental well-being of all its students.

Through performance, students develop confidence, clear communication, and strong presentational skills – all important skills for school, future careers, and everyday interactions.

Drama also nurtures empathy and develops students’ emotional intelligence. Students study a range of literature which allows them see things from different perspectives.

Speech and Drama lessons also fosters teamwork, resilience, and imagination, helping young people express themselves more freely and understand the world around them.
