Our Speech, Drama and communication classes help to build confidence, develop individual performance skills and provide an opportunity to practise communication and presentation skills – essential life-skills for the world of work and beyond!
Our classes cover creative drama, improvisation, poetry, movement, mime, voice-work and public speaking. While learning and developing a range of techniques, students develop their personality, interact with their peers, enjoy new skills and most of all have lots of fun, in a safe and creative environment. From this, students gain a confidence which will carry and support them throughout their lives.
We recommend that students participate in Speech and Drama Exams & Public Speaking Exams with LAMDA or Trinity London. We also encourage students to enter Speech and Drama Festivals which are part of The British Federation of Festivals.
With small class sizes for individual attention, students benefit from a supportive and focused learning environment. Speech and Drama classes are incredibly valuable for young people in developing creativity, building confidence and essential life skills in a fun and creative way. We believe that students can reach their full potential when they overcome the fear of public speaking and have strong communication skills.
Drama also nurtures empathy and develops students’ emotional intelligence. Students study a range of literature which allows them see things from different perspectives.
