Ellendel's after-school tuition groups for KS1, KS2 and GCSE offer a comprehensive approach to English that covers the National Curriculum and all GCSE English exam boards. Our carefully planned programmes are designed to support students in developing strong foundational skills in both reading and writing, with a focus on building confidence and a love for the subject.
For exam preparation we offer specialised classes for 7+, 8+, 11+ and GCSE Literature & language exams. Our highly qualified English teachers guide students through a range of past papers, helping them understand the types of questions they are likely to encounter and the best strategies for tackling them. This targeted preparation is aimed at improving exam performance and easing the stress associated with these important milestones.
In addition to exam prep, we also provide general English enrichment classes that focus on enhancing reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills. These sessions are designed to boost overall academic performance and help students excel in their regular schoolwork.
Our support extends beyond the classroom, as we offer ongoing communication with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and answering any questions they may have. We are dedicated to providing a well-rounded educational experience that not only prepares students for exams but also nurtures their overall development in English.
Our sessions are charged at £45 per session for KS1 and KS2. For GCSE classes, each session is £55 with groups of 5 max.
1:1 tuition starts at £75.
All resources and materials are included in costs.
We have afterschool and weekend classes in: Putney/Fulham, Wimbledon and Kensington. If you are interested in enrolling your child in an area we are not running classes, please contact us and we will add your name to an interest list. We are open to running more classes in South West and West London if we have enough interest.
We also classes Online for all age groups and Creative Writing classes.
Our classes are prepared and taught by highly qualified English teachers only. Our teachers all have degrees in English and full teaching qualifications. All teachers have a DBS check. All content and resources for lessons are reviewed carefully by a small team of experienced English leads.
